goAML reporting software · Zambia

goAML reporting software for Zambia's reporting entities.

Schema-valid suspicious and currency transaction reports for the Financial Intelligence Centre's goAML portal, validated against the live schema and business rules before they leave your building, with an immutable record of every filing.

Zambia reporting fit

Built for the Financial Intelligence Centre's goAML portal.

The Financial Intelligence Centre Act, 2010 and the 2022 threshold regulations set the reporting clock for reporting entities and accountable institutions. Each step maps to the part of the goAML platform that handles it.

Report currency transactions at the USD 10,000 equivalent

Kwacha and foreign-currency transactions are tested against the Kwacha equivalent of USD 10,000, transactions that appear to be linked are brought together, and the reports are assembled for the three-working-day window.

CTR threshold automation

File STRs within three working days of forming suspicion

Parties, accounts and narrative are compiled in one workspace, so the MLRO reviews a complete report rather than assembling one against the FIC's three-working-day clock.

STR drafting workspace

File XML that the FIC's goAML portal accepts

CTR and STR XML is generated automatically and conforms to the FIC's current goAML XSD version. We maintain each deployment as schema versions change, so nobody hand-builds XML or keeps a macro alive against a moving schema.

Schema-valid XML generation

Fix errors before the FIU sees them

Every report is validated against the live goAML XSD and business rules before submission, with errors deep-linked to the field, so a rejection does not start the FIC's clock running against you.

Pre-submission validation

Keep records for at least 10 years and show the examiner

An immutable record of every report, amendment and filing — who filed what, and when — exportable for examinations.

Regulator-ready audit trail

This maps software capability to reporting duties; it is not legal advice. For registration and filing mechanics, see the Zambia FIC goAML compliance guide.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Does the software work with the FIC's goAML portal?

Yes. Each deployment is configured to the FIC's current goAML XSD, and we maintain it as schema versions change so your reports stay valid. Every file is validated against the schema and business rules before it is submitted.

What is the STR deadline in Zambia?

Not later than three working days after forming the suspicion, under section 29 of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, 2010. The duty covers attempted transactions and suspicions linked to terrorism or proliferation financing as well as money laundering.

Which currency transactions must be reported in Zambia?

Any currency transaction equal to or above the Kwacha equivalent of USD 10,000, in Kwacha or foreign currency, including several transactions that appear to be linked. Reports are due within three working days, under section 30 of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act and Statutory Instrument No. 53 of 2022. It is a linked-transaction rule, not a same-day aggregation rule.

Where is the FIC's goAML portal?

The Financial Intelligence Centre's goAML production portal is at goaml.fic.gov.zm. Creodata is not the FIC and does not run the portal: registration on it is your institution's own step, and our software prepares and validates the reports you submit there.

How long does deployment take?

Typically six to eight weeks from kickoff to your first live submission, depending on the number and complexity of the data sources we connect.

Where is our data hosted?

Every customer runs single-tenant in its own Azure tenancy, so your transaction and customer data is never co-mingled with another reporting entity's. There is no Azure region in Zambia; if the data has to stay in your own data centre, ask us about on-premises deployment.
