goAML reporting software for Ghana's accountable institutions.
Schema-valid suspicious and cash transaction reports for the Financial Intelligence Centre's goAML portal, validated against the schema and business rules before they leave your building, with an immutable record of every filing.
Built for the Financial Intelligence Centre's goAML portal.
The Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2020 (Act 1044) and the FIC's directives set the reporting clock. Each step maps to the part of the goAML platform that handles it.
Report cash transactions above the FIC's threshold within 24 hours
Cash transactions above your sector's threshold, including transactions that appear to be linked, are detected and assembled for filing within the 24-hour window, so the threshold is never checked by eye in a spreadsheet.
File STRs within 24 hours
Parties, accounts and narrative are compiled in one workspace, so the anti-money laundering reporting officer reviews a complete report rather than assembling one against the FIC's 24-hour clock.
File XML that the FIC's goAML portal accepts
CTR and STR XML is generated automatically and conforms to the FIC's current goAML XSD version. We maintain each deployment as schema versions change, so nobody hand-builds XML or keeps a macro alive against a moving schema.
Fix errors before the FIU sees them
Every report is validated against the live goAML XSD and business rules before submission, with errors deep-linked to the field, so a rejection does not start the FIC's clock running against you.
Keep records for at least five years and show the examiner
An immutable record of every report, amendment and filing — who filed what, and when — exportable for examinations.
This maps software capability to reporting duties; it is not legal advice. For registration and filing mechanics, see the Ghana FIC goAML reporting guide.

Frequently asked questions.
Does the software work with the FIC's goAML portal?
Yes. Each deployment is configured to the FIC's current goAML XSD, and we maintain it as schema versions change so your reports stay valid. Every file is validated against the schema and business rules before it is submitted.
What is the STR deadline in Ghana?
Within twenty-four hours after the knowledge or the ground for suspicion, under section 38 of the Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2020 (Act 1044). There is no minimum amount, and the duty applies to attempted transactions.
Which cash transactions must be reported in Ghana?
Cash transactions above the threshold the FIC sets for each sector, reported within twenty-four hours, whether carried out as one transaction or as several that appear to be linked (section 40 of Act 1044). For the banking and securities sectors the FIC gives GH¢50,000. Commercial banks also report inward and outward electronic transfers above US$1,000 as Electronic Currency Transaction Reports.
Where is the FIC's goAML portal?
The Financial Intelligence Centre's goAML production portal is at reporting.fic.gov.gh. Creodata is not the FIC and does not run the portal: registration on it is your institution's own step, and our software prepares and validates the reports you submit there.
How long does deployment take?
Typically six to eight weeks from kickoff to your first live submission, depending on the number and complexity of the data sources we connect.
Where is our data hosted?
Every customer runs single-tenant in its own Azure tenancy, so your transaction and customer data is never co-mingled with another reporting entity's. There is no Azure region in Ghana; if the data has to stay in your own data centre, ask us about on-premises deployment.
