goAML reporting software for Nigeria's reporting entities.
Schema-valid suspicious and currency transaction reports for the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit's goAML portal, validated against the schema and business rules before they leave your building, with an immutable record of every filing.
Built for the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit's goAML portal.
The Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022 and the NFIU's reporting guidelines set the reporting clock. Each step maps to the part of the goAML platform that handles it.
Report transactions above ₦5 million or ₦10 million within seven days
Transactions above ₦5 million for individuals or ₦10 million for companies are detected and assembled for filing within the seven-day window, so the thresholds are never checked by eye in a spreadsheet.
File STRs within 24 hours
Parties, accounts and narrative are compiled in one workspace, so the MLRO reviews a complete report rather than assembling one against the NFIU's 24-hour clock.
File XML that the NFIU's goAML portal accepts
CTR and STR XML is generated automatically and conforms to the NFIU's current goAML XSD version. We maintain each deployment as schema versions change, so nobody hand-builds XML or keeps a macro alive against a moving schema.
Fix errors before the FIU sees them
Every report is validated against the live goAML XSD and business rules before submission, with errors deep-linked to the field, so a rejection does not start the NFIU's clock running against you.
Keep records for at least five years and show the examiner
An immutable record of every report, amendment and filing — who filed what, and when — exportable for examinations.
This maps software capability to reporting duties; it is not legal advice. For registration and filing mechanics, see the Nigeria NFIU goAML reporting guide.

Frequently asked questions.
Does the software work with the NFIU's goAML portal?
Yes. Each deployment is configured to the NFIU's current goAML XSD, and we maintain it as schema versions change so your reports stay valid. Every file is validated against the schema and business rules before it is submitted.
What is the STR deadline in Nigeria?
Immediately, and within 24 hours after the transaction, under section 7 of the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022. There is no minimum amount, and the duty applies whether or not the transaction was completed.
Which transactions need a currency transaction report in Nigeria?
Any single transaction, lodgment or transfer of funds above ₦5 million for an individual or ₦10 million for a body corporate, reported in writing within seven days: financial institutions report to the NFIU and DNFBPs to SCUML (section 11 of the 2022 Act).
Can we upload XML to the NFIU's goAML portal?
Yes. The NFIU accepts reports through the goAML web form or by XML upload, and publishes its goAML schema guide, lookup tables and an XML validator for reporting entities. The platform generates the XML to that schema and validates it before you upload.
Where is the NFIU's goAML portal?
The Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit's goAML production portal is at goaml.nfiu.gov.ng. Creodata is not the NFIU and does not run the portal: registration on it is your institution's own step, and our software prepares and validates the reports you submit there.
How long does deployment take?
Typically six to eight weeks from kickoff to your first live submission, depending on the number and complexity of the data sources we connect.
Where is our data hosted?
Every customer runs single-tenant in its own Azure tenancy, so your transaction and customer data is never co-mingled with another reporting entity's. There is no Azure region in Nigeria; if the data has to stay in your own data centre, ask us about on-premises deployment.
